Ken Van Vechten, author of Golf Las Vegas, is among the contributing editors of Zagat‘s America’s Top Golf Courses, which hit shelves yesterday. Drawn from the experiences of over 6,000 golfers, the book rates and reviews 1,149 courses. A "Golf by Zagat" companion software is being simultaneously launched for iPod and iPhone users. Among all U.S. golf courses, Cascata received top marks in the "Facilities" category and was rated #2 for "Service" PGA Golf Club Coyote Springs got an honorable mention in the "Top Newcomers" division.
