Top Bizarre Statues or Public Art in Las Vegas

Huntington Press title My Week at the Blue Angel is cited in a local CBS News story about strange statues and bizarre public art in Las Vegas.

Travelers to the eastern part of Las Vegas cannot help but notice the gentle, loving and idly rotating figure of an angel overlooking the area. This striking angel dressed in blue was a beacon to tenants of the Blue Angel Motel and became such an icon to Las Vegas locals that it inspired the title piece in the book “My Week at the Blue Angel,” a collection of stories about lesser-known Las Vegas written by author and journalist Matthew O’Brien.
